Courtney's Place
There are some promises that become purpose; Some losses that become legacy; and some children whose lives leave an imprint so deep that they forever change the direction of your life.
Courtney’s Place was born from one of those moments.
Courtney was my three-year-old cousin; Beautiful, innocent, joyful, and deeply loved. Before her life was tragically taken in Mississippi, I made her a promise, a promise that children would be protected, seen, loved, and never forgotten. Her death shattered our family, but it also ignited something in me that could not be silenced.
Courtney’s Place exists because every child deserves safety. Every child deserves stability. Every child deserves to grow up in an environment where they are nurtured instead of neglected, protected instead of harmed, and empowered instead of forgotten.
At Unlimited Potential, Courtney’s Place is more than a residential program. It is a sacred commitment to vulnerable girls who need healing, structure, compassion, and hope. Designed for young girls ages 14–17, Courtney’s Place provides trauma-responsive care in a nurturing home environment where youth can begin rebuilding trust, identity, and emotional safety.
The program focuses on:
- Emotional healing and mental wellness
- Educational support and life skills development
- Healthy relationships and self-worth
- Family restoration when appropriate
- Spiritual encouragement and personal empowerment
- Stability, safety, and long-term success
Every room, every program, every act of care carries Courtney’s name and legacy. Her story reminds us why this work matters. She represents the children whose voices were never heard loudly enough and the lives that deserved more time, more protection, and more love.
Courtney’s Place stands as a declaration that tragedy will not have the final word.
Through this program, we honor Courtney by creating a future where young girls are not defined by trauma, abandonment, violence, or loss, but by their resilience, their purpose, and their unlimited potential.
